

Mark Kovacs is one of the leading experts in the science of
tennis. From testing, to training to performance and to recovery. Dr. Kovacs
has studied the elite human body for more than two decades with the specific
focus on improving performance and reducing the likelyhood of injury. He has worked with Olympians, World Champions
and hundreds of the top professional athletes in the world. He has also worked
with more two dozen Top 100 ATP and WTA professionals. Dr. Kovacs is the go to
expert when it comes to optimizing tennis performance. He has published
research on various topics of tennis performance, physiology and biomechanics. He
is the author of Tennis Anatomy among five other books. He is currently a
consultant to the USTA, ATP and
WTA. Mark formerly directed the Sport
Science, Strength and Conditioning and Coaching Education departments for the
USTA and was also the Director of the Gatorade Sport Science Institute. He was
the first consultant to the NCAA when they were establishing the NCAA Sport Science Institute.
He is currently the CEO of the Kovacs Institute which is a
science based institute focused on elite individuals looking to optimize
performance in sport, business and life.
Dr. Kovacs is the Executive Director of the International Tennis
Performance Association (iTPA) which is
the leading certification and education organization for individuals who test,
