Dr. Mark Kovacs is the leading expert in researching and teaching the tennis serve. He has over two decades of experience studying the tennis serve both in a research context, but also in the "real-world" with hundreds of top professional, collegiate and junior players. He has presented to tens of thousands of coaches on the topic and is considered the top Applied Tennis Scientist. He was also a Top International Junior tennis player, NCAA Champion and All-American.. He has consulted with more than two dozen Top 100 players, over 20 Collegiate athletic departments, national tennis federations on four continents and has impacted thousands of players directly and indirectly through his teachings. He directed the Coaching Education and Sport Science departments for the United States Tennis Association, was the youngest ever recipient of the International Tennis Hall of Fame Educational Merit Award and now currently performs a one of a kind lab and court based serve assessments at the Kovacs Institute in Atlanta. These live Serve Assessments are booked out many months in advance and is usually only reserved for some of the top players in the world. He has worked directly with John Isner, Sloane Stephens, Madison Keys, Frances Tiafoe, Jennifer Brady, NCAA Champions, Grand Slam Champions, Olympians among many other players.
